Glenmoor Country Estates sits on the west side of South Jordan, wrapped around the 18-hole Glenmoor Golf Course off Old Bingham Highway near 4800 West. Most homes were built in the 1980s and 1990s, with some 2000s infill - ramblers and two-story homes averaging around 2,800 square feet on large lots, with mature trees that newer South Jordan subdivisions do not have yet. The streets run to a Scottish theme: Skye Drive, Caledonia Circle, Kilmuir Circle, Tarbert Circle, Angus Drive, Dunsinane Drive, Stonehaven Street and Donibristle Circle, with Birdie Way and Tee Box Drive running along the course.
Kilmuir North and Kilmuir South, Yorkshire Park, Stonehaven Park, Triangle Park and the Glenmoor ball diamond are all inside the neighborhood. The Bingham Creek Trail runs along the north edge, and Rad Canyon BMX is a few minutes west.
Students attend Welby Elementary, Elk Ridge Middle School and Bingham High School.
Active listings generally run from the mid-$500,000s to about $1 million. HOA involvement is light compared with newer master-planned communities.
Glenmoor suits move-up buyers who want a real yard, an established street, and room to spread out - and who would rather not take on new-construction HOA rules and fees. I am Dallon Smith with Real Broker, LLC. I list Glenmoor homes for sellers and represent buyers throughout South Jordan.
