Alpine

Alpine sits at the far north end of Utah County, where the valley floor runs into the Wasatch and the canyons begin. Lambert Park's singletrack loops start at the edge of town, and the Dry Creek Trailhead opens into the Lone Peak Wilderness toward Horsetail Falls and Box Elder Peak. Closer in, Creekside Park has the splash pad and tennis courts, Burgess Park the pickleball and ball fields, and Moyle Park and Museum preserves the 1858 Moyle house and stone tower built by Salt Lake Temple stonemason John Rowe Moyle. Alpine Elementary, Westfield Elementary and Timberline Middle are in town, and students attend Lone Peak High in neighboring Highland, all part of the new Aspen Peaks School District, which replaces Alpine School District beginning with the 2027-28 school year. There's no freeway in Alpine itself; the Alpine Highway runs south through Highland to SR-92, which leads west to I-15.
