Lehi, Utah Schools: Every School, Every Grade, and the 2027 District Change

by Dallon Smith

Lehi has one of the highest concentrations of strong public schools in Utah - several of them rank among the top schools in the state - and most of them test above the Utah average. It's part of Alpine School District through the 2026-27 school year, and moves to the new Aspen Peaks School District on July 1, 2027. With more than 95,000 residents now calling Lehi home, the school system has grown fast to keep up. Here's the full picture for anyone house-hunting with kids.

High Schools

Skyridge High School 10-12 3000 North Center Street, Lehi, UT 84043
Lehi High School 10-12 180 N 500 E, Lehi, UT 84043

Alpine School District runs K-6, then 7-9, then 10-12, so ninth graders in Lehi attend junior high and start high school in tenth grade. Skyridge is officially listed in state records as a 9-12 school, but it does not run a freshman class - in 2024-25 it enrolled two ninth graders out of about 2,500 students.

Charter Schools

School Grades Address
Renaissance Academy K-9 3435 N 1120 E, Lehi, UT 84043
Ascent Academies of Utah – Lehi K-9 2199 W 900 N, Lehi, UT 84043

Lehi also has a smaller, specialty charter option worth knowing about: Ignite Entrepreneurship Academy (K-8) at 1650 W Traverse Terrace, which focuses on project-based and entrepreneurial learning. It enrolls through Utah’s open charter lottery system, the same way Renaissance and Ascent do. One to be aware of so you are not caught out: Elevated Charter School carries a Lehi address on Ashton Boulevard, but it is an online school run from an office suite, not a neighborhood campus.

Two High Schools, Not One

Lehi is one of the few cities in Utah County with two comprehensive high schools inside its own limits. Lehi High is the original, downtown near Main Street. Skyridge opened in the fall of 2016 to absorb growth Lehi High could no longer hold, and took about 2,350 students in its first year. Which one an address feeds depends on the address, and Alpine does not publish a public address-lookup tool, so the reliable answer comes from the district. My full breakdown by grade level is here: Lehi Schools by Grade Level.

Why Lehi Schools Rank So High

Part of it comes down to newer facilities, since much of the district's western and northern Lehi schools were built within the last 10 to 15 years to keep pace with growth. Part of it is simply resources: with the Silicon Slopes tech economy driving household incomes up, Lehi schools benefit from an engaged, well-resourced parent base. And part of it is genuine investment from Alpine District, which has continued building new schools and adjusting boundaries as Lehi has more than doubled in population since 2010, from 47,407 to 95,313.

A Note on Boundary Changes

Alpine School District has changed Lehi elementary boundaries twice in the last year. On December 9, 2025 the board voted unanimously to adjust boundaries among Lehi Elementary, North Point, River Rock and Snow Springs, effective for the 2026-27 school year. On March 10, 2026 it approved a second change involving Dry Creek along with Harbor Point, Sage Hills, Saratoga Shores and Springside. A third review is underway now, run by Aspen Peaks for 2027-28, with nothing yet adopted. If a specific school is a major factor in your decision, confirm the current boundary directly with the district rather than relying on an older map - and confirm again before 2027-28.

I help families weigh school quality against commute, price, and neighborhood fit all the time in Lehi - where to live in Lehi, Utah walks through each part of town, and my guide to living in Lehi covers the rest. If you want a second opinion on a specific address, I'm happy to help.
